Posted October 05, 2018 07:18:00 The man in question was arrested and charged after an undercover undercover FBI FBI agent made an “ambush” on him, the FBI said in a news release.
The man was wearing a mask and gloves, the agency said.
He allegedly went to a residence in the city of Ocean City, NJ, and waited in a car parked in a driveway for about 45 minutes.
He then walked to the home of an undercover agent who was “acting suspiciously,” according to the release.
An unidentified woman reported that the suspect had been sitting in her driveway with her child, and that he tried to grab her by the hand and put her in his car, the release said.
The agent allegedly tried to pull away and the suspect allegedly punched him, striking him in the arm and arm and thigh, the statement said.
When the agent tried to call 911, he heard a woman in the home scream, “Get the fuck out of my house!”
The agent “tried to calm down” and the man “took off running,” the release added.
The FBI released a video on Thursday that showed a man walking in Ocean City with a female agent in his vehicle.
The suspect drove off in the vehicle, and an FBI spokesman said the FBI will be seeking an arrest warrant against him.
The release said that agents “conducting a criminal investigation” believe the suspect was an undercover employee of the FBI.
“The suspect’s alleged actions are extremely concerning,” FBI spokesman John McCarthy said.
“This type of conduct will not be tolerated.”
The release did not say how long the suspect has been a suspect.
The New Jersey State Police were notified of the incident, and the Ocean City Police Department assisted the FBI in the investigation, the department said.
Authorities in New York also announced that they had arrested a man who they said was trying to lure a woman with an FBI agent in New Orleans.
The alleged plot began when a woman contacted the undercover agent after being contacted by another woman about an incident at a restaurant, the New York Post reported.
She later contacted the woman who had been contacted by the undercover FBI employee, and “they agreed to meet at the restaurant for drinks,” according the Post.
The woman went to the undercover woman’s home and said she was being pursued by a man, and when she arrived, the man told her he was the “FBI agent,” the Post reported, adding that the woman told him she would go to his house to make arrangements to meet him.
According to the Post, the woman was later arrested and told police the man had offered to pay for her to get a gun, a knife and money for him to go on a shooting spree.
A manhunt was launched and the agent was arrested, and police are seeking to locate him.
